Must Sees on Kaua’i

Kauai is one of the most beautiful islands in the Hawaiian archipelago. Known as the Garden Island, Kauai is home to breathtaking natural beauty, pristine beaches, verdant rainforests, and towering cliffs.

First on the list is Waimea Canyon State Park. This is a must-see destination for any visitor to the island. The canyon is nicknamed the Grand Canyon of the Pacific due to its sheer size and depth. The views from the lookout points are simply stunning, and the brilliant reds and oranges of the canyon walls are a sight to behold.

Another must-visit destination is the Napali Coast. This rugged coastline is only accessible by foot, boat, or helicopter, but it is definitely worth the effort. The lush valleys, towering cliffs, and cascading waterfalls make the Napali Coast one of the most stunning landscapes in Hawaii.

If you’re looking for a more relaxed way to enjoy the beauty of Kauai, head to the beaches. Poipu Beach Park is one of the island’s most popular beaches, and for good reason. The water is crystal clear, the sand is soft and golden, and the beach is surrounded by palm trees and other tropical flora. If you want to try your hand at surfing, Hanalei Bay is a great place to start. The waves are gentle and perfect for beginners, and the bay is surrounded by some of the island’s most stunning scenery.

Another highlight of Kauai is its many waterfalls. Wailua Falls is one of the most famous, thanks to its appearance in the opening credits of the TV show Fantasy Island. The waterfall drops 80 feet into a pool below, and the scenery around it is simply stunning. Opaekaa Falls is another popular destination, and it is easily accessible by car.

Finally, no trip to Kauai would be complete without a visit to the Kilauea Lighthouse. The lighthouse was built in 1913 and is still in operation today. The views from the top of the lighthouse are incredible, and visitors can often spot whales, dolphins, and other marine life in the waters below.

All in all Kauai is a magical place that offers visitors a wide variety of experiences. Whether you want to hike through canyons, lounge on the beach, or explore waterfalls, Kauai has something for everyone.
