3 Ways to See Na Pali

The Na Pali Coast is one of the most amazing and beautiful sights to see in all of Hawaii. If you visit Hawai’i-more specifically Kaua’i-taking a tour of the Na Pali Coast is a must! There are several different tour options when considering seeing the Coast of the Na Pali.

The first option is by air. Most air tours are by helicopter and it is truly breathtaking to be flying above the entire island to see the ariel view. The tours run for about 50 minutes and focus more on seeing the entire island rather than the Na Pali Coast. Although it is an amazing way to see the coast, the time spent along the coast is limited.

The second option is hiking the Coast. Taking the Kalalau Trail is an amazing adventure! It is a trail that I recommend taking if you are an avid hiker with several days to spend hiking and enjoying the journey. It is rated 10 in Beauty and 9 in Difficulty according to Sierra Club so you can imagine the intensity to hike the trail. If you hike the Coast, unfortunately you will not be getting the panoramic views.

The third (and our favorite) option is to see the Na Pali Coast by boat.
