Whale Watching Season

It’s officially whale watching season in the Islands and we couldn’t be more stoked.

We typically see whales starting in December and ending in April. Crazy enough, we say our first whales this year in October! There were even killer whale sighting on Oahu which is EXTREMELY rare!

Humpback whales, or koholā, as Hawaiian’s call them, make their way to warmer waters during the winter to give birth. There is nothing like seeing one of the world’s largest creatures swimming in the majestic blue waters off the Na Pali Coast.

Here at Na Pali Experience, you can see whales on our traditional tours of Na Pali as well as on our exclusive whale watching tours.
